The 15,000 S. F. building’s exterior forms and natural materials fit well within the site’s open, ranch-like setting. The second phase of this project included planning and design of the remainder of the 128 acre site along the Roaring Fork River. The portion of the site along the river is designated as natural open space. A trail above the riparian area provides a pedestrian link to an ‘interpretive nature center’ and regional park (active recreation area) on the north side of the site.
