City of Aspen Parks & Golf Facility, Aspen, Colorado

Located on the Municipal Golf Course off Highway 82 at the highly visible entry to Aspen, this 18,000 square feet project is surrounded on two sides by upscale residential areas.

This multi-use facility includes 15,000 square feet of the City’s Parks equipment storage, as well as Administrative offices and an employee living unit. The design of the Prefab steel buildings addressed the visual concerns from the public while incorporating materials reminiscent of Aspens’ rich, mining heritage. The buildings are cost efficient, and low maintenance incorporating traditional forms with rusted metal siding panels and wood accents.
